were they able to show you any sales info for the new model year? color choices, brochures, anything? im not patient either, ive got a cavalier with tons of fiberglass that is literally falling apart...and im DYING to get some real horsepower with no freakin fiberglass!!!

problem is, the color i wanted was tungsten. it was replaced. im not going to spend 30 grand +/- without knowing the damn color!! and they are total slackers with this. i also want to see this interior ambient thing, and if the HID"s have projectors or not. i decided to wait another 2 months until they are in showrooms. my dealer said they'd order some with those options for me so i could see them. (starting to like them for that).

That's a good plan. My dealer did the same. I picked out all the options and color I wanted and he ordered it with my name on it. He said it helps them as they'll get the car faster, but I have no obligation to buy when it comes in. My wife is excited enough that I'm 99.9% sure we'll be getting it though. Hell she was seriously considering flying to Detroit to pick it up so we could have it sooner! But it is nice to know the dealer is easy to work with and I'm not obligated to buy it.

Ordered mine last weekend, GT Premium, black clearcoat, dark charcoal, gt apperance pkg, int upg pkg, anti theft, heated seats, ambient lighting (he showed me pics of this looked pretty cool)
I'm in Iraq fighting terrorists so I'm having it delivered to the local ford dealer to my stateside base, I just get off the plane,go toour welcome back ceremony, then go over and pick up the Pony, its my present to myself as I was driving a 99 grand am which is now in storage. The anticipation is a real killer lol

i saw pricelists for options when googled, and on mustang heaven they have pics of the vapor color...im going to order mine very shortly! still gotta find out if the HID's are via projector lenses or not.
