is that HID lamp a true HID projector? it looks kind of funky to me. i cant imagine it will look anything like the HID on my girlfriend's mazda CX7 or my mom's lexus RX...

input please? im considering this for my 08 factory order.

They aren't projectors, I just bought an 08 with HID's.

They're reflectors, with a mechanical shutter that changes between low/hi beams.

how do they look? is it a flat line as far as light output like real projectors and the high-end HID setups do? (like in the cx-7 or the lexus RX) do the headlamps look goofy?

They sure as hell aren't any BMW headlights, but they're good. I am satisfied, and it's nice to have HID hi's and lows. The cutoffs are good, and light output is ample. Not to mention you look like you have a GT500
