SVT in 2005
The latest Car & Driver (Feb, 2004)quotes Ford's Phil Martensas saying, "Expect a bigger, broader separation between Mustang GTs and SVT Cobras." He goes on to state that the Cobra will have an independent rear, supercharging, and a "substantial increase from the current Cobra's 390 horsepower." Ford is going after the BMW 'M' carmarket with the next Cobra.
|

The only rumor that I heard is that it will be similar to the '03 model in that it will fall apart after 30K miles. Honda is the way to go. My civic has a turbo that will kick the mustang's tail.
|

SVT in 2005
I have heard something about SVT leaving but havent read anything about it yet. And ya, they are prolly going to produce the cobra again. I read an article in motor trend that carroll shelby says he started with the cobra and will basicly end with the cobra as his last project. I'd rather see a V8 than V10 but whatever, but that was just the concept of it.
