I was just out meditating at the alter of horsepower.....for those of you in or near Western Kentucky (the location, not the University), the Ford Dealership in Paducah, KY has, sitting on the lot, a Shelby GT, a Roush 427 and a GT 500, with another GT 500 in the showroom! My wife brought a bib out to me, I was drooling so much. It's funny because I recognized them immediately, stopped the car and got out (it was late at night and there were no sales hawks around) and there was another couple (maybe in their mid 30's) doing the same thing. He looked across the top of the Roush and said, I can't believe they're putting that big 427 in these cars again! I pointed out that the 427 was the horsepower designation on the 4.6, but I don't think I convinced him. Wow, what a trio....the Shelby GT is just plain cool, the Roush is fantastic and the GT 500 is just flat awesome!
