I'll still respect it, but I would not purchase it. I don't care how fast it is or how good the gas mileage. I need my V8 sounds and smells.

I'd buy it. Love the v8,but a 340 hp tt 6 would be fine for me too. as long as the body of the car kept the mustang heritage.

and if these new gas standards made it the only option, you would too. what are ya gonna do...buy a minvan?

Shadow,I agree with the love for the grand national, would love to drive one, and certainly own one.

Exactly what I was thinking! Grand Nationals are BEASTLY! I should know, that's the first car I ever totaled.

The days of cheap V8 powered cars are numbered. I'm just glad I got to own one before they go extinct. I would gladely drive a Ecoboost V6 powered Mustang.

^+1

i wouldn't wanna get the 6, but if it was my only choice i would definitely take it over something else.

i think that even though the law says 35mpg, most companies wont make the grade. also if you think about it, some cars currently dont meet the standard, thats why theres gas guzzler tax, so i think that v8's will still be there, just that the tax will be alot higher on them.
