Anyways the summary is: Consumers don't want V8's anymore so the American automakers are going to cut back and make it a big niche product instead of mainstream. Many cars that currently have V-8's, such as pickups and SUV's, will get a turbo 6 instead for the next gen model.

Hey, who knows, maybe our GTs will end up being collector's cars after all? Ha!

From everything I've read and the survey's Ford has put out, it sounds like they're going to make the GT with 2 optional engines. A turbo or TT V6 (probably 3.5L) or the V8.

Yeah I'm sure the Mustang will still have a V8 option.

However, I do lament the impending death of the American V-8 in general.
