i was on set a few times and counted at least 7 different KITT's. there was only one "Attack" version though. all the regular versions had the stock V6 spoiler though. the real Shelby KR's have the same type of spoiler as the GT500 does. i guess GAS had limited time to build these cars and couldn't order a bunch of GT500 type spoilers? don't know about Attack KITT, but most of the other cars were V6's with just appearance mods, etc. can't wait to see the final project.
lol. So they couldn't replicate the GT500 using a V6, so now all of us know that it's a V6. They can't even get that right? Boo... PS V6 spoiler = Ugly.
i suppose that the new KITT being a mustang is good for ford, but i still think it's complete bullsh*t that it's not a trans am. if you'reresurrecting a crappy 80's show from its grave, at least get the essentials right. i'm just sayin...
I hope no one mistakes my car for a wannabe K.I.T.T. How embarassing.
This is exactly why I am now waiting to decide about the KR hood. Personally, I think they took a hood that is totally kick *** and have now cheapened it horribly by having it on the series car. I dont care how they spin the show, its gonna take a minor miracle to make it less cheesy than the original anyway, and I dont like the idea of the mustang being likened to such a crappy show. That in my mind is going to do nothing but cheapen the mustang and get the majority of people to think you have a "wanna be" K.I.T.T. car. Sure, the car as he just drives around looks really really good, but that "attack mode"? It reeks so bad of rice as far as I'm concerned that I don't find it attractive in the least. I wonder if they are gonna put some huge audio system with 10,000 speakers in it too? What a joke.......
