Ford Being Bought Out?

Ford Being Bought Out?
Ford Motor Co.
24/7 Wall St.'s Take on Ford
Ford has a market cap of $13 billion against annual sales of $173 billion. If sales fall further, cuts won't make up the difference forever. The Ford family, which has de facto control of the company, will have to look at selling the car operations to a large Asian or European auto company. That would allow for a consolidation of production, marketing and R&D. Bottom line -- billions of dollars in annual savings.

RE: Ford Being Bought Out?
I believe what I hear on this board. Ford doesn't have good cars.... Hmmm So you might as well sell your stang and buy the rice burner with the fart muffler! People make me laugh. Is there no brand loyality anymore? I have owned Fords all my life and all good! F-150's F250 superduty's Tempo, Taurus, Ford 500, And Fusion besides my 07 Stang and the 84 Stang. Pretty sad day on the Mustang Board!

I was joking. Seriously, the only country ford has problems in, ironically enough, is America. Everywhere else it's very profitible. I really do not see Ford being bought out.
