The best part: it makes the ethanol out of regular sugar, something that is currently at historical rockbottom prices right now.
I'm curious as to what the price of sugar would end up at should we decide to use it to fuel our cars. We've already seen what ethanol production has done to the price of corn.
Hmmm, I think we can kill two birds with one stone here. Use sugar to make fuel and yes the prices will go up. In theory, if prices go up, people will buy less. This means people willeat lesssugary food and...
...we've cut down obesity! Huzzah! Fuel and no fat people!
