Get a load of this! KR 100K
I have been looking around for a GT500 on dealer lots. I inquired about one and the sales person thought I was talking about the KR. He said they have one coming and it will be going for over 100K! Said he can't even give it up on the A plan. (That is a crock of crap).
Talk about thievery at the dealership! These guys want it all and then some.!

HAHA....sort of like when I bought my car last year and the dealer had a set of aftermarket headlights sitting there and told me they were from a 2009 Mustang GT that hadn't been released yet. Luckily I had my Mustangs Unlimited catalog with me and showed him the headlights in the book. IDIOT!

When I was looking back in February no dealer was willing to go with any plan offer on any GT500. Dealers around these parts are still getting MSRP+ $20k on the GT500. Since the MSRP on the KR is $79,995 I can see dealers getting $100k+. Crazy - yeah but hey, it's capitalism at work. More power to 'em. These special edition Mustang's are what's keeping Ford in business. They can't give away trucks anymore.

Here is the actual reply to my inquiry about a Shelby GT 500. NOT the KR but he must have figured that was what I was thinking about LOL.
"Thanks for inquiring. That vehicle is the KR and will be going for over $100,000. We have already got many people interested. That vehicle isn't on our grounds yet. We can't even A plan Shelby's. Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon."

honestly for a car that is only going to have 1000 made i think, i thnk 100k really isnt that bad.....given the list price, the markup to 100k is the same the GT500 had a year ago....they were going for 60-70k. Its a car for real car collectors pretty much so they have the money to spend and have one.
