I'm new to Mustangs and just bought an '08 V-8 GT with the standard engine.

What are the most economical and safe power boost methods on that engine? I have a Tuner on my diesel pickup and I've built lots of small block chevy's, but I'm out of the loop as the best ways to squeeze a little more power out of a Mustang. (note my post in the new member section)

Suggestions?

haha, first of all... you posted in the "news and rumors section"
you'll get more answers if you post in the "2005-2008" section

you'll want a Cold Air Intake and a good Tune. Then if you want there's the aftermarket exhaust. And I guess if you want there's also Nitrous and Forced Induction.

Whipple, Procharger, Kenne Bell, Saleen, Turbos, etc.

Very true, but how many times can he fill up the bottle for the price of a kenne bell? Several to say the least!
Depending on how yalls 4.6 like N20 it would seem the best way to go for bang for the buck power. I know my LS1 would absolutly LOVE a shot...but Im broke now
