i dont use SolidWorks at work, just AutoCAD
i went to college that taught me SolidWorks but never found a job that used it....everyone here thinks Inventor is the greatest thing since sliced bread and i hate Inventor.

and AutoCAD isnt completely useless in 3d
you'd be suprised in what kind of 3d u can do in AutoCAD
i know i was shocked, granite its not as easy as SolidWorks but theres always a way to do things.

Autocad 3-D compared to SW 3-D is similar to SW surfacing compared to Rhino or Alias surfacing. Not as easy, but there are ways to make the program your bitch

Me too, but I've got nothing to blame it on.

Default Models??

Cuzzo
I too use solidworks and was wondering if you know of anyone that may have a model similar to my 2004 GT. Also, did you take any measurements for you model or just blind guess?

Surf around for actual blueprints on your car, cuz i doubt you're going to find an accurate model on the web (much less for free). As for my models, if I'm planning on creating an actual rapidprototyped part then, ya I'll take a caliper and go pull some measurements.

All the best-

Not bad.. It's awesome actually! I thought you were using Solidworks or 3dMax. The entire blueprint looks neat also.
