Default 1999 Mustang SVT cobra. worth it?

I am currently looking at mustang cobras (1996-1999) and I really like the sn95 styling and the power but i have been looking at the '99 and am wondering if it is much of an upgrade from the sn95 cobras. I have been reading alot of negatives about the IRS and the cobra recall in '99 because of the false horsepower. What do you guys think?

If the 99 has the recall done to it I would go for it. Especially if the car has been taken care of.

the 1999 is a sn95.... sn95 lasted from 1994 to 2004...

yeah if you like the styling and power of the sn95 Cobra then go for it....

I just can't get past the seats and interior of the sn95.... four spoke steering wheel? mini seats? wtf....

No, SN-95 was '94-'04. '99-'04 were known as "New Edges" but there were still SN-95's.

Who gives a **** about how many spokes the steering wheel has?

Most likely, all if not most of the 99 cobra's have the recall thing done to them. I'd go take one for a drive and then decide from there if I want it bad enough or not.

Go with the '99. It has a bump in horsepower from the previous models and the IRS isnt bad once you get used to launching the car.
