if it's this car you're referring to as the 2010 Mustang, I don't think it is. The 2010 will have minor freshening, just like they've done every year. But this concept car isn't planned for production. Some of it's styling ques may make it onto a future Mustang. But Ford isn't going to mess with a good thing. Not yet anyway. The big news hopefully for the Mustang will be the ecoboost V6 sometime 2011 or 2012. 340 hp is what I've heard.
That's not the one. Both the cars I saw were lightly camouflaged and definetly the 2010s. I don't like the look of the new GT500 either. The front reminds me of the new Evo.

I haooen to agree with a lot of you. The rear bumper is the worst part. It looks like they wanted something along the lines of what the new Camaro has, but it didn't work out so well.

if yall think the 2010's are ugly then you should think your s197's are too. these car's are practically identical just a few changes here and there. many people will not even notice the change between the two. as for the rear bumper there's always something better looking in the aftermarket category.

Lookin at those interior pics ( ones provided by ReaperGT), it makes me wonder, how do you put an aftermarket head unit in something like that?

I don't really know quite what it is, but I just don't like the changes they've made to the exterior. On the other hand, I do know that I hate the new interior from the photos that I've seen for many different reasons.

Haha more S197 haters. Your Mustangs are no longer the newest and coolest on the block. How can a car that looks very similar to yours be "awful?" I'm going to laugh when as soon as the 2010 comes out your cars value takes a sh*t. Only S197 owners think it looks bad..... Thats ok, these are the mustang owners who complain that Ford is taking the "classic" look away. Yet they probably couldn't tell you the difference between a '66 and a '67. Or a '70 and a '73. They are FreshOnBoat mustang fans. If the new Mustang hadn't come out, they probably would have bought an eclipse.

I also don't see how you don't like the new interior. It looks more organic and expensive and has more conveniences. It also looks more like the '67/'68 Mustang which the S197 is trying to emulate, with the square vents.

Haha. I swear you have something against S197 fans. Why can't it be that the majority of S197 owners prefer the look of the car they purchased? Would that not make sense? On your point about them being so similar, I don't see how that makes a difference. That'd be like saying that I couldn't possibly say that this (http://www.musclecarfinders.com/2008...or_sale_1.aspx) looks awful, because it looks that similar to stock S197s...

Well I owned an S197 up till about a year ago, so I have nothing against the car. I also don't have a problem with them prefering the car they bought I don't understand them out right hating it. But tell me this, how come 80% of people like the new car while 80% of S197 owners don't.
