Default Revival of Muscle Car Era

It seems to me today that with the Mustang, the Challenger, the Charger, and Camaro that muscle cars don't seem like their be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm look at all the buzz that new concepts are bringing to into magazines and forums. Maybe its just me, I don't know haven't been a live long enough to really know what the muscle care era really entailed. What do you think?

Yes.This is a good time to be into American Iron. I got into cars around the same time that old 60's-early 70's muscle was fashionable(80's)big dollar resto's down to zinc coatings and paint dabs on the axle, frankly it got tiring hearing about the great beasts of old. Basically if a car from the '80's sqeeked into the 14's it was respectable. There were a small handfull that did. Most old M/Cars werent as great as the lore surrounding them also. I have a recent magazine where they pit concour resto cars against one another with new radial tires and minor bolt ons allowed. SOME of these cars were running +15 sec 1/4 miles.Look what new cars are running now,sub 13's. 12 sec 1'4's are the new standard. These are the good old days!

^Fo sho. It always gets me when Prius drivers are flying down the free way passing everybody else. They certainly aren't getting good gas mileage then haha.

BTW, you know you can get novelties that have phrases like "I <3 New York" and stuff? Well I've got a fridge magnet that says "I (club) Hippies" Muhahaha

The muscle car era (well pony car era, since that's what mustangs, camaros, T/As were) never has gone away since it started. Yes it has had its lows, but the cars that made up the pony car eras are still around, well at least the mustang is, and now with the revivals of the charger, camaro, challeger, also dont forget the GTO, the pony car era lives. I hate to say it since I love these cars, but it really does need to go away however, we need to move onto those Prius and hybrid/electric cars. We have f*cked the Earth so bad with pollutants, the majority coming from cars. Sure I consider myself a "new age" hippie, but either way, when poeple stop thinking about themselves, and maybe see the dying environment and all the animals going extinct, they'll rethink the belief that muscle cars should even be around.

Sounds like what I tell vegetarians, "I'm going to eat double meat to make your cause futile."

Though I love Mustangs, I'm incredibly happy to see other muscle cars making a comeback.
