MUSTANG WINS! - Car and Driver front page!
So I just got my July issue of Car and Driver and the front cover is "MUSTANG WINS! Beats Chevy + Dodge With Less Power" with a photo of a 315 hp 2010 Mustang GT with a 426 hp Camaro and a 376 hp Challenger in the background.
Inside they do a complete comparison and the Mustang wins big !!
Final scores:
Mustang - 209
Camaro - 193
Challenger - 190
The interesting thing is in performance the Mustang is MUCH quicker in the 30 - 50 mph and 50 - 70 mph tests.
Car and Driver doesn't usually ever give the nod to a Ford product so this is big.
Anyhow, pick up the July copy and read for yourself.

Could it be that those magazines don't know the Camaro's out?!?!
Do they base their revues on the old cat fish?
Now that Ford has sold more than Toyota last month and also the fact that they've not ask for bail out, maybe the Mags feel compelled to reward Ford...

Let me tell ya, a woman in my Mustang club got a SS 2010 Camaro and I was not real impressed with it. Now let me state up front that I've always been a fan of the Camaro (67-69 years) so I was hoping to see some of that influence on the 2010 and I was sadly disappointed. Yes it has some but very little, and yes the outside of the car does look nice but that's where it stops. Once I lifted up the hood it got worse, there is a large seam that hangs down where the lower and upper part of the hood are spot welded together that looks like total crap and would make a very nice scrap on your head if you forget about it. Next the paint in the engine looks like water color over primer. She has a nice orange color SS but the totally watered down paint applied over dark primer is see threw and looks like hell and has no clear coat over it so its completely flat in appearance. And then when you get into it the interior is completely lackluster to say the least.
So its no surprise to me that the Mustang is getting the good review from them.

I'll be fair, I do like one thing about the camaro. and that's the comfort and design of the seats. They hug me much much better than my seats. Other than that the interior is just plain. plain boring that is.. the cluster has some apeal.. and the cool thing is, I was in concord NC last week during the nascar races, and guess what, a camaro was parked next to me, but the only thing he did was block the view for the passing on people that stopped and looked at scarlet
