keep in mind that in 50 years if the car sells for 500,000 dollars it will be about the same amount as 50k today, once you figure in inflation and dropping value of us currency..

I haven't seen a story on it in awhile, but yes they did produce the other 100 vehicle's. Roush's said we told you 100 but that was for your year we decided to produce another 100 for next MY. Basically they say they made a lot of money and decided to milk the cow. They got sued for 120million it came out to about 120k per person, Ford was included in the lawsuit but I wouldn't be surprised if their name was later dropped out.

You can pick up a new 2008 Blackjack at my local Ford dealership. I'm sure they'll make you a hell of a deal on it. And Ford's offering 0% for 60 months or 1.9% for 72 months plus $1000 rebate right now. That goes for Roushes too.
I just picked up my new Saleen with 0% for 72 months during May, plus I got a hell of a price from the dealer. Now's a great time to make a deal on a special edition 2008.

I've always kind of told myself that if I ever have the money cars are probably one of the more safe things to invest in if you can just let them sit for a realllllly long time. I mean think of the Model T. If someone bought one of those and never touched it I'm sure it would be worth 1000's

None of these cars, including KR's will ever be collectible. Just look at the 1990 Corvette ZR-1. Next year, they'll be 20 years old and they're dirt cheap. The '90 was the only year of the old bodystyle with the LT5 motor. Look at all of the special edition muscle cars that are worthless now. For every Yenko, there's a King Cobra. There needs to be something truly special about a car for it to go up in value. Throwing some stickers and a CAI on a car (Bullitt) isn't going to make it collectible.
