Default Is the new 5.0 dry sumped???

I cannot remember where I read it, it was in a car magazine though, but a reference was made possibly that the new 5.0 was dry sumped. Is this true and if so why?

I have not read that the new 5.0 is dry sumped. I did read where the GT 500 was going to be configured like the GT, aluminum block, except for the dry sump. There are many reasons to go with a dry sump system, especially with a high revving engine.

The 5.0 is not dry sumped...neither is the new GT500 motor for 2011. I remember reading it in Car and Driver or another magazine, not sure which one offhand
