i checked with a ford rep..he said that monthly sales figures ONLY include vehicles actually sold and delivered to customers during that month so the sales numbers for the year to date do not count any of the 2011 orders. last i heard, there were over 10,000 2011s ordered...so i expect to see sales numbers jump soon when the 2011s start getting into peoples hands and at the same time, ford will have to really drop the price of the 2010s to move the 2011s...

could they get away with a "buy a focus for $45,000 get a mustang free!" type of deal to bias numbers? lol
