No but now I'm thinking of building an F-150 with TFS heads and a turbo

Never thought the 5.4 2v was worth a damn anyway. A new intake doesn't change that.

So, here's the info about the new intake if you haven't read it, do so. It's cool stuff.

http://www.modularheadshop.com/Articles/54 intake.htm

The HPS 5.4L intake is great for cars with stock or mild heads and cams but isn't designed for power peaks over ~5500rpm. The new intake should breath well up to 6500+ and let us explore the limits of the available cam grinds and especially the new TFS modular heads. While it might not make everyone want to run out and get the tall deck block it does in fact open up a new avenue for modding. What do you think about that?

If you have any questions please send them directly to info@modularheadshop.com . I'm not affiliated with them. I do have a 5.4 mustang and hot cams and I'd like to spin it up to 6500, so I'm definitely picking one up.

They put a space in the URL... not all forums interpret it correctly.

Here, try this one:

For mine... It's a test mule and a way to keep me busy anymore. I don't even drive it, so what follows might seem bizarre and wasteful but it is what it is.

Right now the plan is to try the new intake on my current combo, then stage 3 MHS heads with their Stage 3.5 cams and the new intake. After that I'll see about trying the TFS heads and then if Nick thinks there's power to be had in a different cam profile I might check that out. Thankfully I do the bulk of my own work or this would cost a bleedin' fortune.
