The driving session is scheduled to begin around 7am tomorrow morning but Ford is accepting entries until 10am. I expect the event to take 10-11 hours and I will be posting updates throughout the day as they become available.

in the first hour, they ran 86 laps around the track...thats around 45 miles and at that rate, it should take them around 11-12 hours to reach 1001 laps.

well i think my guess was off

i said shy of 1000 laps

I think that I guessed somewhere around 1200 laps...but I think that they are going to blow that away. I was guessing that they would average around 40mpg at 50mph..i was off a bit on both ends of that.
