the common man wont be able to get this one for sure. Although I didn't think I'd ever own an 04 cobra. I bought it in Nov. of 04 with it being the last 04 on the lot for a little more than wholesale price.

I plan to pick up a used 11 GT500 one day. May be by 2018 or 2019, LOL.

Let the baby boomers pay the high price. Then when they get bored you scoop it up for a fraction of the price. Most of them will have low mileage and be in MINT condition.

I got no idea but ive kind of given up hope on it... when they announcing the return of the 5.0 i figured they would release the boss and then put the mach1 on the back burner for a while.

What's deleted from the Laguna Sega to make it lighter? AC, power option? What else is different? I know it deletes the back seat and adds a front chin spoiler.

yep..in 07 I would have bought one @ sticker...but not 15-20K more , I ended up buying my 69 instead and now look at what the 07's that people paid 60 for are worth.
Dealers should be flamed for treating customers that way...and the people should wake up as well!!

but yes i think the boss is going to have a jump in production after a while.
and i remmeber a time when the 07 shelby came out. my ford dealer had a nice blue one with a 50k mark up. what was funny, is the fact that the invoice said : "DEALER MARK UP-$50,000" they were at least honest about it.

wont and cant. price to make vs. selling price. they make way more more money on regular gt's. also they can sell limited shelby's and make money...same with the boss's. once they start seeing what the demand for the boss stangs are i guarantee you the number they are going to make will go up.

company's look to make money.....look at all angles of income vs. expense. for the most part (unfortunately) it doesnt matter what the customer says.

what i expect tho is maybe a dumbed down "option" version that can be tacked onto a regular GT. suprised they didnt just do that

There is no way in this economy they are going to be getting that much over sticker. Total dealer pipe dream. For 100k plus, I would go get a ZR1.
