Tunner really work??
I just got into this hobby I bought a 2011 mustang 5.0 manual transmission. I love it. I have 1900 miles on it and ready for some upgrades I heard about the bama tunes and just wont some anwsers from everyday drivers can you feel a differance if so like how much. Also should I buy just the tunner and still have more power or do I need the intake as well..

Since I was where you are a couple of months ago, I'll weigh in here. I think the first thing you're going to have to decide is how far are you going to take your mods. Do you ever plan on putting headers on the car? Do you ever plan on putting high-flow cats or X-pipe? Do you plan on doing cat-back or axle-back exhaust? I think the tuners and custom tunes are worth every cent they are asking. Bama/American Muscle is a great company to work with. Personally I don't think the CAI is worth the money UNLESS you plan on making the rest of the car "flow". My experience is not scientific or backed up by any dyno numbers, but I think bang for the buck the tuner/tunes yields the most immediate HP gains. I think the Steeda CAI and JLT CAI both look really nice and probably do yield some gains, but they yield bigger gains the more you do to the car. If you're just looking for a tune that runs much better than stock, I'd go with the tuner and tunes from one of the reputable sources here on the forum.

Yes. The factory tune is very, very mild compared to what the engine and transmission are capable of doing. Ford puts in a mild tune to cater to everybody in some fashion. Their tune is doing no justice for the performance enthusiast.

If you're looking for hard numbers, here ya go- https://mustangforums.com/forum/tune...i-results.html
Would seem foolish not to get a CAI/Tune combo after looking at that.
