Any dirt on the 2012 5.0?
New to the forum. Forgive me for only spot checking around the site before asking questions.
Have about 500 miles on my new car. 2012, 5.0, Brembo/3:73.
Any TSBs and or gliches anyone know of at this time? Impressed with the performance so far, for sure. Still trying to improve my inadequate shifting skills, and avoiding citations.

I just bought a new '12 GT as well. You having troubles with 1 to 2? To me, it seems like it really wants to go from 1 to 4.
I also noticed that the avg mpg in town (stop and go) goes down considerably, while driving the twisties (where I usually ride my SV or DRZ), staying around 4k rpm, it actually increases.
I guess this just means I'm gonna have to drive it like I stole it to get better gas mileage.

Hey man
Seems like there was language in the manual about actually shifting from 1st to 4th....anyway glad to hear from a new 2012 owner like myself. This is my 1st muscle car. I like it. Just hope the new motor platform is sturdy and trouble free. Have 1100 miles on mine, yes mileage appears to suck around town. Going on a road trip in a few weeks and will see what it really gets on the highway.
Have not experienced any problems yet but have read of a few TSB's and such. The tranny appears to be the most talked about item. I have a 6-speed.
Is your car a v-8?

Yes sir.. 6spd v8.
I owned a 96 GT a while back but had to trade it in for a "family car" .. Lesson learned. The handling of my new one is crazy good in comparison. Of course, in 10-15 years I'm sure I'll have the same thought about my "old" 2012 GT. haha..
I'm still trying to figure out what mods I want to do first. I was thinking cold air intake and a few other minor things, but I don't want to void the warranty. Or, at least, I don't want to do something I couldn't swap out fairly easily before I took it in ...
