"fair to assume" does NOT mean confirmed. it means there's a good chance but shouldnt be taken as 100% realized, that said a 247hp 4 doesnt make much sense. why do that? the 3.5 already can wrangle 31mpg and deliver 300hp so unless the 2.0 will deliver 40mpg i don't see a point. on the other hand if a turbo+GT track-pack suspension set up, will be an option id definitely look into it.

That was my first thought. That engine already makes 360hp in the SHO/Flex/MK-S. Something like that in a Mustang along with an 'updated' coyote making around 430-450 hp to separate the two.

I'm not sure how I feel about this..I can't really see the Mustang being "Eco friendly"...
