Check out today's homepage article about Ford Racing picking the Fusion over the Mustang. Obviously, it's a business decision, but does it make any sense to make the Fusion the face of Ford Racing instead of the Mustang?

Who cares!! They even have Toyota running in there.

Frankly, I'm willing to bet that most Ford fans don't really care about Nascar...
It's a GM thing mostly.

I dont know if I would go that far.....my dad is one of those hard core, bleeds Ford blue, hates imports with a passion type of people and he never misses a single race.

I meant to say, not as much as the other guys but yeah, old school guys are in it no matter the Brand.

I used to follow the sport until that race where Ford did a clean 123 finish in 97 (I think) with Rusty Wallace taking 1st, Nascar was quick to tear up his engine and check if it was up to specs, lol.
It was the 3rd race of the season and Gordon had won the 2 previous races.
No one tore down his mill after those races. Geez, I wonder why.
That 123 Ford finish ended up causing some rule changes...
A 123 GM finish? Not so much.
