2013 Mustang product update list.
So in my recent research about more fMPG friendly vehicles (well better than my 05 hemi ram) i came across what's claimed to be the 2013 update list. I don't know if this TRULY is the official list but looks legit. Seems like leather wraped sterring wheel and hill assist (on manuals) are going to be standard. Sucks were losing Kona blue though. It's a nice color.

hill assist feature
Hill assist is a program built in the car that will keep the car stationary on a hill for 2 seconds after the brake is released. Its a pretty good feature if you ask me..... I will be getting a 2013 for sure.... :-)
hope that helps....
Here is a lot more info on the new 13 beauties.......

The leather steering wheel and HID's standard is nice. I had almost picked out what I wanted in my head for the best bang-for-the-buck: 2013 base V6 with 3.31, cloth Recaro's, 18" wheels and the track app. It looks like you can't get the new track app or 18's without going premium though, correct? It looks like the premium with at least the 3.31 will be a little too pricey for me even with a or x-plan as I would like payments to stay under 400. I guess I'll have to make some compromises somewhere. At least you get some options unlike the Genesis Coupe as you can't get LSD with the base and for about 2k more the R-Spec gives you Brembo's and LSD and bigger wheels, but no cruise. WTF?

seems like a lot of companies are phrasing out cruise in base models. why i have no clue. and as far as track app do you mean like an application for a smart phone?

No, its a new gauge display application for the 4.2" screen that can measure g-forces, acceleration, braking, ect. It sounds very cool and would be useful if you plan on modding to see what kind of results your getting with various upgrades. I still don't know for sure if its option in base cars or just in the premium packages though.

Yeah, I've been searching pretty hard to find out if the Track Apps are standard on ALL trim levels, or if they only come with certain packages. Some sources say you need to have purchased the GT Track Pack (this was back in October 2011), but when you build a car on ford.com the GT Track Pack makes no mention of the track apps.
I DID just last night find the 1st printing of the 2013 owner's manual, and I noticed that they had pictures of two different gauge clusters. So to me that means not all 2013's have them. I ordered a base V6 with the Performance Package, so hopefully the track apps and the 4.2" LCD come with it!

Never mind! Looks like you can only get the 4.2" LCD screen when you get the premium version of the V6 or GT. When you're building your car on the ford.com page, I looked under "See all standard features" when it asks you to select an equipment package. The base V6 and base GT only have the regular 4 gauge cluster. The premiums have the 4.2" LCD screen with track apps. I wish I had known this earlier! Ah, well. I'm still going to be happy with my 2013 no matter what!

The 4.2" LCD screen and "track apps" only come on the gt and v6 premium models... One quick easy way to see this is go to fordvehicles.com and build a mustang. After you select the style (base gt, premium, base v6, premium, etc) and click on the transmission, on the next page if you click on standard features, it lists out the standard features. The 4.2" LCD screen w/track apps is only listed on the premium models.
