The 2013 GT gets a small bump in power for this year. 8 hp isn't really that much, but what is interesting is how Ford's engineers got it. It seems like a lot of work for a little improvement, but I'm glad they did it anyway.

 

"Powertrain calibrations" does this just mean a slightly different tune?

kinda shocked that they even bothered with the 8 HP upgrade they could have easily made it more if they wanted at basically no cost. But then how would we have any fun?

 

8 more HP just means it's gonna pull even further ahead of the Camaro. So it's a WIN for us!

by me last weekend, I caught him though!

 

The 2013s also got rid of the oil cooling jets in the pistons due to windage at higher RPMs, that is actually where most of that power comes from.

 

I don't know about you guys but I am READY to see a head to head with the 13 GT500 and 12 ZL1!!
