This is a custom-built '67 Mustang fastback. It's got a 500 horsepower 402 ci Roush V8. That's worth leaving your job, home, friends and family for, right? More »

Nope, not at all.. Now you show me an all numbers matching 1970 Boss 429 in Grabber Blue or a 1969 Mach One with a 428SCJ then I'll gladly give everything up

That's more on target. Anyone can do retro mods, survivors are the real deal.

I dunno, guys. It's all preference, I suppose. I'm all about resto-mods, but can definitely appreciate all-original, old school vehicles.

I do like seeing these types of platforms built with modern suspension, braking. drivetrain and EFI tearing up a track.

Another problem is I can make 500 with the 5.0 in my car very easily. It's not a real impressive number anymore.

I think it's more impressive on a 67, even as a retrofit... still makes for a very nice sleeper with style... But I agree, not worth giving up what I already have for it...

It's a gorgeous car! Making sacrifices to get it? Why not? We have all made sacrifices of some kind to have the cars we love.

Give it all up? I'd at least hang onto the job and house so you could pay for it and have a place to put it....
