When will 2015 Mustang be revealed? Guesses anybody...?
 

Hey everybody,

I'm trying to pin down where we think the official unveiling of the new Mustang 2014.5 will be. I did some research on-line for hints but the best I can come up with is the New York Auto show. Does anyone know when that one takes place?

It could also be a suprise reveal at the NA Auto show (Detroit MI) in a couple of weeks or maybe the Chicago show in February? I could be wrong here but I have a suspicion its about to happen.

I really want to be there for that reveal I think it will be an awesome event to say you were there when the 50th anniversary Mustang saw light! Maybe I'm nostalgic but THAT would totally rock!

All of the renderings from the last two months I've seen are awesome so I'm really looking forward to this!

What have you guys heard? What's your thoughts/gut tell you?

Well they have to reveal it pretty soon ideally. I mean its the 2015 model so in about 5 months the 2014's will start being mass produced and it will likely be a short production year. New designs are typically released nearly a year in advance of production start (historically) to build demand and help the marketing people frame up the spend/scope of the advertising. So it's time really...

The fact that there has been so many leaks coming out means the design is pretty much done. I have a strong sense it will be revealed this year...but its just my gut.

Found this if this is the 2015, I hope Ford knows they are ruining the Mustangs look if this is it. It looks like a cross between a Honda and a Corvette....... mixed with some Audi.

I'm guessing the NY auto show in 2014. Usually held around april.

I wouldn't count on it. Seems like in the past you would see fully completed and fully disguised test mules caught on camera testing around Detroit several months before the official unveiling. When spy pics of fully camo'd cars start hitting the web then I'd say the official unveiling is close at hand. As of now there have only been spy shots of loosely configured test mules with only the fronts of the vehicles covered to keep prying eyes off. My personal opinion, it will be at least the end of 2013 before we see the official car.

I've been to NYC twice, loved it, would love to make that my 3rd trip.

Can't trust that article, it mentions a Boss 302 still being in production, which Ford already said via press release 2013 is last year for Boss 302.
