Default Man Ticketed For Driving 148 MPH To 'Air Out' His Mustang

If your car has been sitting for a while, it might smell a bit musty. So you open the windows and driver around a bit, get that stank out. But you don't need to go 148 MPH to do it.

Oh yeah, I aired out my car last night too. The Corvette made me do it.

LOL...he must be stupid, I would of never stopped if I went by a cop going 150mph, would of got off the next exit and then the old routine of left-right-left-right until I was gone, there would of been little chance of getting caught or maybe not?

Judge is gonna tear him up!!

Haha that's awesome, it's amazing what kind of excuses some people can come up with.

The speed limit on the nearest highway here is 65 mph. I will get on it and typically go 70-75 to air dry my cars, that usually gets the job done nicely. It's always a great excuse to go for a drive. Sure it takes 10-15 minutes to dry the car off by hand, and I'll spend a half hour or more driving, but eh, that's not the point...

I do admit that on a clear day, on a nice, straight, empty stretch of highway I sometimes will give in to the need for speed, but 148? Yikes!
