I have a 2012 mustang v6 with the magnaflow competition catback exhaust and everything else is stock as for the exhaust. I want to upgrade the mid-pipe next but I don't want to delete the cats and I don't want to spend the money on a high flow catted mid-pipe. So I want get to a cut and clamp mid-pipe behind the factory cats. I'm not looking to change the mid-pipe for the power more for a little change in sound. I am thinking about getting the ford racing cut and clamp x-pipe. The size of that mid-pipe is 2.25" or I was thing about maybe getting a custom fabricated 2.5" X-pipe. My catback is 2.5". My question is what size midpipe could possibly make my exhaust a little bit louder, the 2.25" or 2.5" x-pipe? Thank You

Hi, welcome to the forum; looks like you posted in the wrong section or maybe you can't post in other section yet, due to being new....IDK.

These LT's and cat-bak will do the trick! or you could shop around and piece an exhaust kit and there are cheaper units available. Use the search feature in the V6 section:

Or you could run just muffler deletes without touching anything else, sounds great to me
