Total Nightmare: Mustang Totaled During Traffic Stop
The fear of getting a ticket in your Mustang can be a pain in the ***, especially for younger drivers who probably are already paying hefty insurance premiums. However, what happened to this Mustang owner after getting stopped by an officer is a sign that a ticket could be the least of your worries, as captured in a Montgomery County Police video report. The incident occurred when the driver was waiting for the officer to go through the routine of checking his license after being stopped, all of which was caught on the officer's dash cam.

From what I can gather from the Audio, someone drove up on the shoulder of the road and threw a Beer Bottle at his stang, hittin it in the passenger door. Looks like he was making a report to the Policeman when this happened. Still Suxors.

I agree. He did not get pull over or getting a ticket. That poor Stang got it on both sides. By the way the rear wheel is sticking out after the crash, looks like it has frame damage and probably a total loss. Ouch

The idiot in the pickup truck got fixated on the radio car and didn't pay attention to the car in front of him.
The good news is that it's on video, so he has no way to talk himself out of it by blaming traffic, road conditions, etc. Even better, the cop is going to have a few things to say to the guy because it could have been HIM that got hit.
The Mustang will be totaled by insurance, but it should be full reimbursement so he won't be out anything.
