I have a 2007 Ford Mustang and when I plug my aux cord in, it only plays through the right speaker. My radio works fine and will play through both speakers. I have used the cord many times in other cars and it works fine. I even took it to the ford dealership to set an appointment for them to check it out and I asked what it might be . The man had never heard of it happening before. The cord is supposed to be 3.5 mm correct? And it wouldn't have anything to do with a fuse would it?

Try a different cord. Sometimes they wear out. You'll be able to tell if its the cord if you wiggle it around and the sound comes back. Same thing happens to my head phones after awhile and I have to replace them.

Most likely the cord, but may actually be the jack in the radio.

That is a stereo input and it sounds like you are only getting one channel in to the radio. Try another cord or another source to see if you are getting both channels.
