Not true.. it bogs them down.. heat and humidity is not good for any engine performance no matter what it is. cool and dryer the air is the better. There is even claims of over boost in the cold dry air... take your car 700 miles northwest and away from the ocean find a track and run it.. guarantee you get way better times!
