This 1997 wide body Cobra SVT was recently posted on eBay. It's built by the famed Granatelli Motor Sports, and modeled after the Street Driven Summit Racing Pro Millennium "Million Dollar" Mustang.
We build'm like we are asked to I agree the yellow accents are not my first choice either but the workmanship on this car is 2nd to none (if I don't say so myself) It's an all metal super wide body car front and rear fenders. NO BONDO and no body filler to make the shape. Each fender was hand bent and crafted. If someone want a cool kick *** car to drive around this would be it. Just get rid of the yellow.
The car was nicknamed FANG by the magazines. It was the encore to the Summit Pro Millennium, a $500,000 effort to produce a REAL 1000hp pump gas car that could run the entire power tour in 2000. (which it did) Today 1000hp is still a lot but way easier to be had. In the year 2000, 1000 hp on pump gas (any pump in the country not racing gas) was a big deal.
Fang and the Pro Millennium were both multi time award winners and FORD image vehicles of the year.
