Default No More Dreaming....Input needed on picking my first Shelby

Guys,

The purgatory of engineering school, the relentless hours of busting my *** at work and the years of eating canned tuna have finally paid off. I'm getting the car that I've dreamed about owning for a long time, and I want to get as much input as possible. I'm looking at a 2011-12 Shelby, but could swing a 2013 if I fell in love and convinced myself it was worth the extra dough. My love affair with mustangs started with a 98 gt convertible, so I'm strongly considering a vert. Anyone got a strong opinion they'd like to share? Thanks guys.

No vert fan here....( weight ).............see if you can locate a glass roof instead.
.
11/12's will be cheaper to buy. ( have an 11 )
13/14's have 112 more hp from the factory. ( have a 14 )
Easy to mod, your wallet is your limiting factor.
