Interesting those show a 15-17 car, but after some clicking, it appears the patents were filed in 2017 anyway.

Also interesting that nobody has an active hood vent system or underaero thing, etc. If that makes it to the new body style, then I wonder if it will be for the top end trim(s) only or if the base and GT will also get that tech.

That drip tray is cool. I think the 03-04 Mach 1s had a tube that ran rain water to the ground from the shaker hood scoop. Not sure if Gt500s had anything similar, or the Terminator Cobras.

The patents themselves can be used on any car, they probably used the Mustang of the time to give it some relevance to "performance" aspect of their patents.
