That is a pretty sweet truck, but when are we going to stop seing trucks that are attempting to be a Dodge Viper? I can go to a dealer tomorrow and buy a truck w/ the viper V10 in it with 500+Hp and 500+Tq. Dont get me wrong, i think it is all pretty cool, just getting a little old.

while i was working for dodge, some old guy bought a big diesel dually, then paid a ton to have the SRT10 hood, fascia, interior trim, etc. installed, and he had knock off srt10 wheels...so in the end, he had a diesel, quad cab, dually srt10...

Duh - I just realized the article is from '02. That explains the 4.7L & the 15.9 1/4mi.
Personally, I like the SRT-10. Any truck that has a skidpad rating better than a Porsche is awesome in my book.
ROTM - my father has a Ram dually w/a Cummins Turbo Diesel, 6-spd. That truck has so much torque it's not even funny. He blows away little punks that think they're fast & sends them crying to their Mama. The look on their face is priceless - getting beat by an older guy in a dually is a shocker. If they're stupid enough to race a 7,000 lb truck in the first place, well, they deserve to get beat.
Thankfully, he has better taste than to make it a fake SRT...most people know that the SRT isn't a diesel. Some people have a lot more money than brains, obviously.

is his diesel built? a friend of mine back in PA had a 2wd cummins dually with a ton of work done to it, and evidently he got himself into the 12s a few times...and ive seen a couple 11 second cummins, and power strokes...my car runs mid 12s, and few things are more humbling than having someone in a 4wd diesel run an 11.70 and spank you in front of a big crowd...[&o]
