i can see how some wouldn't like it, but i kinda like the look. that rear end looks sorta like the first gen camaro's, which i love.it's definitely down to personal preference though.

These company are in a horse power war. And it's great for all of us. I can't emagine what the Horse power on the Cobra and the Vettes will be in 5 years from know. I'm loving every minute of it to.

my guess is the cobra is gonna get rid of that iron block...that will shed quite a bit of weight and make it a force to be reckoned with...or it should be. ford better know that weight is the only thing holding it back...and the irs

Doneteventry....your comment about the shelby is wrong,that car will go on sail within the next 2 years.Shelby getting old and he wants to go out with a bang and the new cobra is it.As for your little vettes coming out with this model and that model,there only doning it to TRY and outdo fords new cars.Now that gm has started to bring it dont think for wont have something waiting for gm's ***.As for the new mustang cobras,ford it self has said NO MORE will the cobra be compared with the camaro,the cobra is after the vette and the 2003 svt cobra is just a hint of things to come.</P>


As for the new vette beating the new cobra..look at the price difference my god with just 2k if that in mods it will out run the vette.</P>

Where can you substanitiate your claim about actual production? Ford only refers to it as a possibility on their website. Secondly, the Stang Cobra will bever be as good as a Vette in all around performance. It is not setup to be an all around performer, not to mention the new ones look like crap. Us Vette owners could give a crap less about your price argument. Every Vette owner can afford a Mustang, but not every Mustang owner can afford a Vette. Any car can be modded to be faster. There are plenty of 700hp+ LPE Vettes around that will smoke just about anything that tries them. Who cares about that though? We don't justbuy Vettes for high speed, but for the nostalgia, the look, and the excitement. I laso love how you state Ford is handing GM it's ***. Well last time I checked, Ford didn't have a production sports car that was as good as GM's. They are producing the lovely GT this year, which will be better, but it won't reign for long, when GM produces the "Blue Devil" Vette with 625 hp. Al in all, Vettes are, and always will be, much more exotic than your Rustang. You really sound like a Honda owner.</P>
