that guy talked typical ricer BS, but i must say, i need to havea little respect for the RX-7 cuz he could have beat me, i've been beat by 5.0s before and if the RX-7 got beat by a car then he should have beaten me, but still he should take his loss the way it is. He lost period, no excuses. HA, did they pull over and let him SEARCH the mustang for nitrous? HAHA, its funny how ricers say oh man i can't believe u beat me! u gotta have more done to your car, no actually my beating you is believable, get over it, u lost.

but my RX-7 makes 550inchpounds of torque at 7500 rpm. that should have beat the 5.0 easily

an STI owner couldn`t believe my 98 cobra clone was a prochargedv6 cause he couldn`t pull on me. i opened my hood and showed him no cobra engine in there
he said i have to have at least 300rwhp to beat his Stock except for exhaust STI. i showed him a dyno slip of 260rwhp and 310ftlbs of torque. i told him my tranny was slipping bad too and even let him drive it with me in it to prove it was slipping. he then balmed the humidity also. as if my car wouldn`t be affected by temps and humidity

well i doubt that RX-7 was stock anyways, he prolly had stuff done to it, I've seen fixed up TT RX-7s beat C5s so they are just slow stock, i've always liked them, I always thought they looked pretty darn sexy.... kind of like a mini viper!

no i`m seeing about 12-13 lbs on my 11psi ati kit. An STI stock will get 210-240whp after the AWD setup soaks alot of power up. his only has exhaust (muffler) i`m puttin down 260rwhp and 310 ftlbs on a good tranny and probably 210-250 with it slipping. it`s getting rebuilt within the next month along with some other goodies. my whole point is too many ricers think the STI,EVO, and eclipse AWD turbos are "beat all" cars. they aren`t. they are very quick but not super fast in stock trim especially since they don`t make good torque down low

Well even with the little stuff done to them they are still slow..... Now I doubt that thing was TT..... Becuase I didnt hear them. Now even if they are TT from the factory they still only make about 210 or so hp to the crank. They are a week car to begin with. Now the new RX8s if they did a TT from the factory.... Those cars would MOVE!!!!

I've got to agree with 95 on this one....I don't think you're anywhere near STi range. This guy must have been the ****tiest driver or you raced a standard WRX. The STi isn't a slouch and is capable of 12s or damn close to it with the right driver.
