Hell could a vic even run with a V6? I thought I saw one of them cop car drag race things (where the cops pay the fees so the youth can drag for free against em) run like a 17.00 or something.
I never heard of a 500 cubic inch crown vic, but dont beleve everyone that says that cop vics are faster. They are acutally slower, as all of the added wieght (heavyer suspension, all the electronics, the prisioner cage) slows em down.
BTW, anyone else think the cops were stupid as hell for this? 99 percent chance he had no idea the chopper was overhead. Why not pull way back, let em slow down (so he isnt doing 90 and swerveing in and out of lanes with YOUR mom/wife/kids in the next lane) and follow em with the chopper? he gets out, BANG hes toast.
Bout 4 years ago we had a high speed chase with a GT going out of st louis on the highway. The vics couldnt catch the guy (they are limited at 128, or so my uncle says) so some dumbass cop tried to sidesipe him from the other direction, aka get going the wrong way on the highway and tag em. Both the cop and the guy died.

What is it with Oklahoma and car chases. The great Impala chase hppened in Ok too. If anyones wants to view there are 3 parts to it and I think it's bee on here before when I first joined the forum. But I will post a new thread for anyones enjoyment.

95LT1...i'm not sure what a BB stands for...but basically some have the 502cubic inch engines that chevy used to put out way back when...the cars r just so heavy...i drove an old crown vic...and it had a lot of get up

BB stands for Big Block. Chevy refers to small and big block because of the ability to take a small block, bore and stroke it to as much as 454cid, where the standard 454 was a big block. adn there is a totally distinct size difference. Even though many parts can actually be interchanged between the two.
