LOL. I've been to India about 5 times (I'm indian) and no one obeys the laws. At bigger intesections, there is a countdown meter on the stoplight. People go ahead and drive off when there are 8 seconds left on the countdown LOL. Also, if you do something idiotic on the road and if there is a cop that sees it, they come over and hit you with a baton. Can't really escape with all the traffic.
