gts and lx's are very similar and theres not much of a weight difference, also if i did have an 80 mph speedo that wouldnt exactly govern my car to that speed

and holy ****!!! your 15 second FOX is king!!!! I just proved your *** wrong again. Your car in no way ran anywhere with a Cobra or an LX 5.0 with your GT body kit. He walked from a mid 15 second car, I really don't think he'd have any problems with your GT model and your whopping 88 mph speedometer.

I just wanted to add that when you copy and past stuff like this from a website it is all complete and total bull****. It means nothing, and the cars didnt vary from year to year like that. You are seeing both driver error and (especially these times) just made up bull****.

I am not taking a position on the car that was in the vid, merly pointing out that websites like this mean nothing.

Is everyone here retarded... first of all the only other car that attemted to race was the impala, the Porsche just sat there as the civic flew by, the bimmer well he's there then flash he's not there then he comes flying by probably because those morons were annoying him. They even said bimmer attempts ricer flyby... first of all you dip****s he wasn't racing, you were pissing him off like you probably **** everyone on the road off and he wanted to get the hell away from you. And the Impala SS curb weight is 4218 which by my calculations is 1000 pounds more than a mustang GT. BTW 2000si do you have any pics of this car? I noticed he's got like 15 gauges throughout the cockpit. But anyway ****ty vid... just don't think 2 of the 3 cars were even racing and he barely pulled on the SS from about a 40 roll.

barely pulle don the SS did you even watching the ****ing video? he pulled like goddamn MAD on that SS. He had one gauge, the ever so accurate aftermarket big ****ing tach (that I don't like, but is sitll accurate)

The point is the B16 swapped hatch is faster than you think it is and you're too ****ing cocky and butthurt to admit it, in which case I don't give a flying ****. Why? because I know I'm right and you guys are too much of ****ing pussies to just admit when someone has a fast ****ing car.

were you watching the ****ing video...? didn't you see all the gauges down the front driver side window (drawing a blank, cant remember what it's called). 2000si I usually don't resort to insulting people but that video was retarted... THE BOXTER WASN'T EVEN RACING AND NEITHER WAS THE BIMMER, AND YES HE BARELY PULLED ON THE LT-1 4200LB CAR, THEY SAID THEY GOT TO 130 **** THE SS LIMITER PROBABLY KICKED IN THAT WHY HE STARTED TO PULL, **** IT TOOK HIM 15 SECONDS BEFORE HE EVEN MOVED AHEAD 1/4 OF A CAR. I am an Impala SS owner and I can tell you that the Imp is bone stock. The kid was very yooung and it was most likely mom and dad's cruiser. It didn't even have an aftermarket exhaust. the actually weighs in at 4300lbs. do a few bolt-ons to the Imp and he would annihilate that ricer.

And 2nd, Shadow has a point, the limiter on a stock Imp kicks inat 123mph. But from what I viewed, no way they were even doing over 100. The kid in the Imp most likely let off cause he was scared. If you don't know the feel of an Impala at over 100, youwon't like it. it's heavy and feels like you're floating, not stiff and rigid like a sports car.
