The 05s are true 13s cars.

The Mach1 is a low to mid 13's car.

Also, with a highway race, it makes a lot more sense to compare the cars' trap instead of their ET.

werd... i haven't seen any 05 tests running in the 14s... 14s in a mach just means the owner needs to be dragged from his car beaten and shot to death for being a sucky driver.

ya know, I don't see what the RX-7 guy is whining about. It was actually a pretty good race, and right at the very end, he looked like he was starting to slightly pull on the Fox. They had to shut it down for traffic, but if they had another mile, who knows? I mean, he didn't get owned or anything. The Fox didn't run off and hide like the Saleen Fly By on another thread. I mean, if he gets the jump off the roll, we may be looking at a different outcome. But sheesh, all the whining and moaning - he sounds like a little spoiled bish. He didn't get his *** whipped after all - it was as close a race as you could have. Oh well. That Fox sho did sound good, didn't it??

WHAT !! Look at the mags fellas a stock 05 only kicking 14s. Even on video it ran 14s STOCK. If you got some tires or etc sure it could run high 13s. And BS on the freaking MACH 1 ! I have raced way to many mach 1. From fractory these cars are running 14s. With some aftermarket tires exhaust etc then the bust the 13s. Sure there are some freak cars but the norm is low 14s. Also si how many Mach 1 you raced? Dont make be bust out video on you. LOL!! Hot Rod has the first 12 sec 05 i read but look what it took hahah re done the hole car. Let the bench racing began!

Ok. i have to correct myself a little bit! Hot rod got there 05 to stock time of 13.90 or 13.80!! Mustang and fast FORDS ran there 05 @ 14.72. The video we all saw while back had a 05 running mid 14s also. With normal drivers these 05s gonna be 14s all day long.

If you wanna magazine race MM&FF had a 5spd mach in the low low 13s bone stock, even the tires were from the factory (****).

They just had there little buillit vs mach 1 shootout, and the slowest mach 1 ran a 11.386@118.59 with a 125 shot, a xpipe and catback, and Et streets w/ 4.10s. If that doesnt show potential, I dunno what does. What does he have in his car, a grand and a half at most? (not counting the payment, but dont get ricer on me here)

Yes, foxes were good low 14 second cars, but they are by no means the fastest latemodel mustang class ever built (even excluding the 03 cobras. )
