RE: Gran Turismo 5
Meh, Xbox 360 is more powerful. Take a look at the graphics comparisons between the two platforms, xbox has an unattainable advantage over the PS3. Cool looking game though.

RE: Gran Turismo 5
Then how do you explain the limited definition capability of many ps3 games (most only go as high as 720p) whereas the xbox has full 720p/1080i/1080p on most if not all games. Check the back of the your video game cases down where it lists max video resolution. That is where you will see what I'm talking about. Here is an article with comparisons:

Undoubtfully you have your own opinion and I respect that, but I can't push aside the written facts on the back of every ps3 game.
If you are a person who appreciates technical specifications, here is another article comparing and contrasting the difference in processors, spe's, video cards, memory buffers, etc.

RE: Gran Turismo 5
Ill explain the resolution differences to you. You obviously don't understand that the Xbox 360 upscales anything above 720p, whereas the PS3 will display "some" (not all) games natively at 1080p. The links you provided are very dated, and not to mention bias. The article at gamespot shows a ported game that was originally made for the 360. And the article from ign is very old, and bias. Both of the systems have their advantages and disadvantages, but when it comes down to pure processing power the PS3 wins.

RE: Gran Turismo 5
Yeah I have no clue what mighty90 is talking about. I thought it was a well known fact on paper, the PS3 is technologically far, far superior. Its also well know that the PS3 is a difficult system to develop a game for, so inturn means that its power isn't currently being used to its fullest (maybe thats where you think the 360 is superior?). That will change with time though.
EDIT: LMAO @ the last link. It was written in May of 2005. 6 months BEFORE the PS3 was even released.

I have both, and i agree that the ps3 hs more brute strength, butt he it has been proven that the 360 has a slightyly better GPU. The PS3 makes up for this with the cell. The only problem with the PS3 is that it is WAY harder to program games for. Its using all BRAND new hardware, whereas the 360 is using more outdated, but still competent hardware. Even look at Assasins Creed. The color depth is much better ont he 360, and th ePS3 version has frame rate issues. Both versions were built fromt eh ground up, so there is not "It was from a 360 port" excuse. Hell, the game was meant to come out for PS3. When Devs funally learn how to harness the PS3's true power then we will see some awesome results, but for now i havent beent oo impressed with my ps3. I mean NOTHING tops Gears of War in the graphical department. And that gane is over a year old.
Lol, this is fun talking about video games on the MF forums. Im used to doing this on gamespot. hehe

Yea, im usually over on either the xbox or playstation forums myself. But yea, 360 is the console of choice right now, but I have noticed the ps3 games looking better and better as time goes on. Have you seen this game? IMO, it looks amazing!
