Here is the video from this last weekend of me vs my friends 2000 LS1 firebird w/ mufflers and K&N.

The vid quality sucks (dont have a good compressor yet) and there is no sound (dunno wtf that is all about, can't get it off my camcorder) but you get the idea. Race was from a stop to about 100-110 MPH. I have about 4 more races on disc, just can't get em off.

BTW, I was pretty much granny shifting the trans, as this was the first time the clutch/trans has seen a redline shift. I was a bit nervous about really laying into it with hard/powershifts, as I am still getting used to the new trans, and the new first gear. Launch was at about 3K with plenty of spinning on my part.

Good race. I heard the sound. BUT...

You are gonna hear about this from the LS1 guy here. I can see it being said... "When your passanger yelled 'GO' it looked as though you got the jump and that isnt fair". Well let me solve this right now from the get go... Thats called the whole shot and someone has to get it... so no complaining.

I have like 4 or 5 other races, all with the same result. I have 2 from a stop (including this one), a 20 roll, a 30 roll, and a 40 roll. I pulled on em in every race. In the 2nd race (from a 20) it did take a while for me to put em away, because I shortshifted into both 2nd and 3rd being a wuss with the new trans.

K now I hear sound. I am trying to convert the rest of the files now, give me a few minutes.

I dont hvae a idle vid yet, but I will soon now that all of my converters are apparetnly working. I can only get audio on streetfire for some reason.
