i just saw my buddy's dad's supra. its a 98 putting out 588 rwhp/580 rwtq. he doesnt drag he road races so thats enough power for the competition. he just ditched his twin turbo setup for a bigger turbo setup. i was quite impressed!

I hope he could run 8's he must have 30,000 in that car on top of the price of the car!
if i had the car and that much we could build a 5.00 sec 1/8 mile stang.far as street legal i have seen a 5.70's stang on motor.and here is 1 that we built for a guy run 5.60's on the 1/8 mile at the time.if he really wanted to sink some cash into it could been in the mid- 4 secs 1/8 mile.

one of my buddies has an automatic supra that puts down about 600hp to the wheels. best run i've seen 1/8 was a 6.5@127mph (2.3 60'....i think he needs a small shot of nitrous off the line 
) . not sure what the equals in the 1/4 (the nearest 1/4 mile track is about an hour and a half away) but that's pretty impressive in my mind. there's a couple more people in gville with 800-900hp 6-speed supras, but one needed tires the day he brought it to the track (7.2@???) and the other one just won't go, haha.
