2003 Zinc Yellow Cobra, 36k miles, Raleigh, NC area
Hey guys, I'm trying to see what kind of interest I get here. I really don't want to do this, but I'm looking to sell my Cobra if I find the right buyer.
It's a fairly stock (other than the usual standard stuff and the rear end) 2003 Cobra, Zinc Yellow, about 36k miles. It's very well maintained, it has seen the rain 2 or 3 times, and each time was just for a minute or two as it raced back to the garage. No food or drink is ever eaten in the car so it has no spills. The interior is in as close to perfect condition as you can get, the paint has 3 small spots, one where I was a freakin idiot and opened the hood with a wiper up and left a little chip, and two spots on the front bumper. All of which I will fill with touch up paint, wet sand, and polish back up to make them absolutely impossible to notice unless you are actually pointed to them.
Here's the mod list I've pulled from my WebRidesTV page:
Power:
2.8" Pulley
Bassani SS O/R X Pipe
Mac SS Catback
JLT CAI
Handling:
Solid rear axle (Moser 31 spline axles, FRPP limited slip differential, FRPP 3.73 gears)
UPR Chrome Moly Rear Control Arms
UMI Torque Box Reinforcements
Bilstein Rear Shocks
H&R Springs
UPR 4 bolt C/C plates
Wheels, Tires, Brakes:
Stock 17" 03 Cobra Wheels
4x 275/40/17 Nitto 555 Extreme Tires
Exterior:
H&R Super Sport Springs
5% tint
Taillight black out tint
Interior:
MGW Shifter
Boost Overlay
The car drives amazing, I personally love the solid rear, never have to worry about wheel hop and tearing up the rear end. It's never been to a track, but if you want to it's more than ready to. The reason the entire rear is done is because the guy I bought it from used to work on rear ends for a living, so it was nothing for him to do it. The lowered look and 5% tint give it a mean look that turns heads everywhere (or maybe that's the exhaust?). Please let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested, and give me some feedback.
Price: $24,000 obo
Oh, and I'm selling because I'm looking to start saving some money to buy my first house. I absolutely love the car and this has been very hard to do, but I have to make the smart choice and save that extra money every month. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
