FS: 99 mustang v6 5 speed
My girlfriend is trying to get rid of her 1999 mustang v6 ASAP. It's red, 5 speed, cd player, power locks/windows/seat, grey cloth interior. Has 98 or 99k miles I believe. It needs a little work though, there's a small dent on the rear drivers side quarter panel just above the tire. The front bumper is also sagging a little but that should be a really quick fix. I can't say 100% sure that the clutch is bad, but I have a feeling a bearing in the pressure plate is shot. It drives fine, just squeals at idle and when you step on the clutch. She is asking $1500 for the car and wants to get rid of it really really quickly. I'll go take pics if there's some interest.

btw, the bearing you're thinking of is the throwout bearing.

Yeah I am thinking the throwout bearing I am just not 100% positive. The car drives fine, it just squeaks loud at idle and when the clutch is pressed in. I have to take interior shots later, the reason I didn't take any is cause the inside of the car is a mess. The car isn't smoked in though and the interior is in really good shape.

dam man. Connecticut is like 17hrs from me. Only way that would work out is if I got it when I come out to PA this summer, that wont be till june july or august. PLus I dunno how I'd get it back either. Unless I pulled a whole car trailer. That would kill me in gas though.
Lookin like it probably won't work out. I'd have like 1 grand even, and then wouldn't have any moeny to put towards gas or anything. I don't think I'll be able to afford it.

I'm really interested in this car, butI would need to see more pics before I can commit to buying.Pics such as all the interior, and also the engine bay.
